About This Opportunity:
Shaw Local Radio is searching for an energetic, experienced, reliable, career-minded, highly motivated, and all-around positive people person to join our team as a Full-Time Account Executive. This is your opportunity to become a marketing superhero for local businesses! You will develop multimedia solutions that include our market-leading radio stations; River Country 101.7, Sky 95.7, WIXN AM 1460/FM 95.1, and Shaw Media Marketing Digital.
You will be immersed in an engaging, supportive culture that fosters success. As an effective communicator, you will develop and maintain relationships with leaders in the business community. Representing the stations professionally and enthusiastically is expected as we are actively involved in our communities.

What the job requires of you:
You will bring a motivated, positive, and passionate attitude for broadcasting. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with marketing partners.
• Identify and close new business.
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Generate revenue and meet/exceed established sales goals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A desire to learn and grow.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
• Persuasive communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
• 1-3 years prior sales experience, preferably in Media or Marketing.
